Delete Your ExecClone Account

Effective Date: October 5, 2026

This page explains how to delete your ExecClone account and the data that goes with it, including data from the ExecClone apps for Android and iPhone. You do not need the app to make a request.

To delete your account, email privacy@execclone.com from the email address you sign in with, using the subject "Delete my ExecClone account".

We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming the request.

1. How to Request Deletion

By email (no app needed)

  1. Send an email to privacy@execclone.com from the email address you use to sign in to ExecClone.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my ExecClone account".
  3. Say whether you want the whole account deleted or only some of your data (see section 4).

From the ExecClone app

Open the Team tab, tap the ExecClone coin in the top-right corner and choose Request Account Deletion. This opens a pre-addressed email to us; send it from the email address you sign in with.

What happens next

  • We reply to the email address on the account to confirm the request came from you. We do not delete an account on the strength of a message from any other address.
  • Once confirmed, we delete your account and data as described below within 30 days, and we email you when it is done.
  • Deletion is permanent. A deleted account and its data cannot be restored.

2. What We Delete

  • Your sign-in account: your email address and user ID.
  • Conversations: your messages with your clones, threads and Board Room meetings.
  • Files: photos, documents, contacts and voice messages you shared, meeting transcripts, and the deliverables in your asset library.
  • Dashboard data: your tasks, approvals, briefings and insights.
  • Your clones: their profile and the memory built from your data.
  • Notification registrations: the device tokens used to send notifications to your phones.
  • Connected services: authorizations for services you connected, such as email or calendar, are revoked and deleted immediately.

Data on your phone

Messages, recordings and transcripts cached by the app stay on your phone until you remove them. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. In the Android app, signing out also removes it.

3. What We Keep, and for How Long

We keep a small amount of information after deletion where the law or security requires it:

  • Billing and payment records (invoices, payment history and the billing contact on them): kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years.
  • Security and access logs: records of which account accessed which data and when, using IDs and codes only, with no message content. Kept for up to 400 days, then deleted.
  • Email automation logs: kept for up to 90 days for audit purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Encrypted backups: deleted data can remain in our encrypted database backups until those backups expire on their regular schedule. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.
  • Legal obligations: if we are legally required to keep specific data, for example because of a court order or an open legal claim, we keep only that data and only for as long as the obligation lasts.

If your organization pays for your ExecClone service, its contract and invoices belong to the organization and are handled under its agreement with us.

4. Deleting Some Data Without Closing Your Account

You can ask us to delete specific data, such as a conversation, a file or a meeting transcript, and keep your account. Email privacy@execclone.com from the email address you sign in with and tell us what to delete. We follow the same verification and the same 30-day timeframe.
